Celebrate autumn with pumpkins on the porch to welcome your guests. Pile pumpkins, colorful gourds, and Indian corn in a wagon or wheelbarrow. Line it with plaid fall flannel and straw.

Try our teamwork concept. Assign a piece of the party to each guest. Send your guests a copy of the "To Do List" with their invitation and highlight the project you want them to complete for the party.

DRESS THE TABLE
We like flannel from JoAnn Fabrics in vibrant fall colors...just cut to fit your dining table! If the fabric is too narrow, make it a runner. Buy plenty of fabric to repeat the look on your buffet table.
For napkins, we like to use bandanas. Buy a few extra for lining your serving baskets. Get a bag of silk autumn leaves and scatter on the table. Use wicker chargers from your dollar store and Fiestaware dishes in great fall colors. You can find them at your local resale shops.
ADD YOUR
CENTERPIECES
For a buffet counter centerpiece, use a tin bucket to display sunflowers fresh from the farmer's market, or pick up the fake ones from Michaels. Display your knives, forks, & spoons in a trio of tin cans.
For your dining table centerpiece, gather grasses and stalks. Tie up with twine or shop for a soup tureen in fall colors --- perfect for serving second helpings! You can find them at local resale shops and they are a great complement to your Fiestaware dishes.
BEVERAGES
Here in Missouri, we are blessed to have fresh apple cider from the orchards and award-winning wines from our wineries. Both are perfect to enjoy on a crisp fall day!
